Get-Well Gamers is a registered Canadian non-profit currently serving hospitals in Ontario. It's parent organisation serves over 75 hospitals in the UK.

We are dedicated to bringing electronic entertainment to children’s hospitals, hospices and other facilities for the benefit of entertainment and pain relief. Our electronics are donated from kind members of the public, and we make sure they're in clean, working condition before donating them to hospitals.

We admire the fantastic work that play specialists and play services do in helping children stay positive through their treament and recovery.

Studies have shown the numerous medical and mental benefits games can bring - ranging from pain relief, to socialisation, to hand-eye coordination and motor control.

Often times there's little to no funding for entertainment and as such, many wards do not have enough entertainment for all the patients.

We want to support them.

Children are just so happy with the Game Boy that they actually forget where they are
